The Seattle Seahawks are tentatively scheduled to kickoff training camp on July 25. This date makes sense, because according to league rules, teams cannot open training camp to veterans until 15 days before the team’s first preseason game.

The Seahawks play at San Diego in the team’s first exhibition game on Aug.8 – 15 days after the team’s scheduled start of training camp.

So this week’s three-day, mandatory minicamp will complete the Seahawks’ offseason activities. Here’s the three-day schedule:

Tuesday practice – 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Wednesday practice – 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Thursday practice – 11:30 to 1:15 p.m.

Minicamp practices are NOT open to the public. The Seahawks have yet to release a schedule of training camp practice dates open to the public. But we will pass along that information as soon as it’s available.

  1. With Tarvaris Jackson being cut from the Bills today, lets hope Carroll doesn’t feel too invested in this Brady Quinn as backup nonsense.

Lol, tJack returns to the hawks!

  3. So they have like 2 hour practices – what other types of activities can they or Do they do during these mandatory camps.

Class work? Film study after practices? Lifting?

On an average day how long are they at the facility?
