Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio interviewed Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider on Tuesday, which you can check out here.
Of note, Schneider told Florio that the Minnesota Vikings gave recent Seattle addition Percy Harvin’s agent a one-month window before he was traded to talk to other clubs about a contract for teams willing to trade for explosive playmaker.
Also, Schneider will talk with reporters here locally about the upcoming draft this afternoon.
Florio asked what Schneider’s going to do with his copious free time on the first day of the draft, with Seattle not scheduled to select until No. 56 in the second round.
“I think it’s going to be a wild first round,” Schneider said. “We build or board based on our team, not the league. And so we’re basically going to sit there and watch the first round, see how it unfolds. And we don’t pick until No. 56, so hopefully we have a bunch of upsets.”
