Well, the didn’t take long.
Just as news broke this morning that Gus Bradley has been hired away by Jacksonville as the team’s new head coach, the Seattle Seahawks moved quickly, hiring former defensive line coach Dan Quinn as the team’s new defensive coordinator.

Quinn initially had been considered for the position in 2009 when Jim Mora took over as head coach, but Bradley blew Mora away in his interview, and Quinn was brought on as the defensive line/assistant head coach.
Quinn left after the 2010 season to serve as the defensive coordinator at Florida, where he turned that unit into one of the best defenses in college football.
Bringing Quinn back keeps some continuity within the organization, and adds a popular coach back to the mix on the defensive side of the ball.
