As expected, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman had his appeal postponed on Friday, which means he will be allowed to play on Sunday here in Toronto against Buffalo.
No word yet on if another date has been set for the appeal. Also, this is the last game that rookie safety Winston Guy has to sit out for his four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy. Guy will be eligible to return to the team next week for the San Francisco game.
As our own Dave Boling reports, receiver Charly Martin has been placed on the season-ending injured reserve with a calf injury suffered during practice this week. Deon Butler is expected to rejoin the team, but according to John Boyle of the Everett Herald he has not traveled to Toronto with the rest of the team.
