  1. GeorgiaHawk says:

If we can get just 1/2 as many turnovers against the Bills as we did against Arizona. Ok, I will settle for at least two turnovers. Lol.

  2. EastCoastFan51 says:

boys better be ready and not overlook the bills.

  3. SandpointHawk says:

    O’s look amazing similar…stat wise.

  4. Surprised to see how similar these teams are in the stats. Hopefully the hawks have their eyes on the prize and will go take care of business this weekend

  5. gonefishin69690 says:

The offense numbers very similar (unless you only compare the first 8 games or so) but the defense numbers tell a much different story. I see Lynch goin for 150 at least.

  6. Dukeshire says:

Similar on offense, stat-wise, although I’d be willing to bet Seattle is significantly better than Buffalo over the past month. And of course, Seattle is superior on defense.

  7. DisplacedSeahawkFan says:

This is another one of those games that scare me. Seahawks are supposed to win this, but…

  8. Good that this game is indoors — favors us, I think.

  9. sluggo42 says:

    Offense -close
    Defense-NOT close
Turnovers -opposite ends of the scale.

I think the boys bring it again, cuz they are pissed about the “ran it up” crap. Buffalo is about twice as good as az, so no blowout, but we are hitting on all cylinders right now.. I wonder if the cold will bother RW? Glad he has thos big mitts to hold on to the cold ball.

  10. The game is indoors.

  11. Jets sign Braylon a week after he called them idiots.

  12. Indoors, 1pm start time.
Should be alright unless they start looking forward to that other game.

  13. sluggo42 says:

    I guess Braylon was right…

  14. sluggo42 says:

Say, since we are all leaving, we should decide what the new site where we can all go ” en masse”

    Suggestion ??

  15. How exciting is all this. We finally have a great quarterback and the offense is pulling together. Pete and John are doing an awesome job here in seattle. We are going to the playoffs and taking the division back. I’m jacked go SEAHAWKS!!!!

  16. Dukeshire says:

Some of us will not be “leaving” until the end of the year, at earliest.

  17. Ya i wont just be leaving right away. I’ll be interested to see what the guidelines are and how many articles we can read/comment on etc. I definitely wont be paying to go “unlimited” or something, but maybe it sounds like we can still see SOME stuff and comment on SOME stuff still. Searching for a glimmer of hope in this….
I definitely love this blog. It is a place i come often to read/relax/get excited and to learn more about my favorite team. Here’s to hoping we dont have to totally go away…

  18. Why don’y one of us start a blog that we can all have access to? Or, Just blow up a great Seahawks fan’s blog linked here:

  19. I’ve been following that guy for about 6 years now. Just a thought. He seems like one of us.

  20. pfah. I like him too. I also follow him on twitter and he bleeds blue and green. he’s definitely a good follow and i wouldn’t mind commenting on there as a replacement

  21. VNHLNFAN says:

I hope we go into this game ready to play. The Bills wont quit like the cards did.

  22. Ewalters7354 says:

I agree. This blog helps my days go by very fast.Every break I get, I always head over to this blog. The population is what makes this blog special. But living in New Orleans, the news that goes on in Washington is really not any of my concern. And I don’t mean that in a bad way. That’s why I can only pray the guys over Eric reconsider. There are bloggers all over the world that faithfully visit, read and comment. Not many blogs can compare. If any…

  23. Ewalters7354 says:

One can only hope the Bills won’t quit.Because the niners beat those guys pretty bad, to a point where they had no fight left.If things get ugly, the hawks have proven to bull over enemies(Jets, Cowgirls, Tards). Here to hope of another dominat win!Oh btw, the beast is coming to town!

  24. Games’ on the road, nuff said…. Both have running games, score will likely be low…. It should be interesting what direction we go after our ‘perfect storm’ win this past weekend…. It won’t be easy….

  25. GeorgiaHawk says:

It’s obvious now that the powers to be at TNT have taken notice of my song parodies and have decided to charge a monthly fee to have access to them. Lol.
    Where’s my cut?

BTW- Do you think BobbyK will be at the game in hopes to see Jackson play?

  26. sluggo42 says:

Hmm so, davekreigsbeardstrike it is then…

  27. Is there another site that does game time & weekly chats?
All the extra things that Eric & Dave do here?
I read the first story at the previously mentioned (beard) site and the writer looks to be really funny. But others here have mentioned other sites too. The only other place I’ve gone is the Times blog but I don’t dig the layout over there. Guess we need somebody who’s been around the block a few times to advise..

  28. I read a little more over at the ‘beard’. He only does about 2 stories a week. What about the press conferences & Daily stories we get here.
I don’t think that place is gonna cut it.. I’ve liked what I’ve read tho.
I think we’re gonna go thru some serious withdrawals if the Seahawk fix that this site gives is taken away.. Boo

  29. Dukeshire says:

I’m not a ‘Strikebeard fan either. His writing is too silly, and there’s not much content other than anecdotal, IMO.

  30. banosser says:

I’ll be happy with any kind of victory…
They’ll know this game is a must, if they want the 9er game to possibly be for the Div..

  31. We’ll probably all have to visit all the sites and check back on this one until the dust settles and our future home develops. It seems like this happens every few years but a lot of the same people find each other some place after a while. Even if we lose each other we’ve still got our team and a genuine franchise qb!

  32. I love the Seattle-Buffalo matchup, as these are my two favorite teams. I’m originally from Buffalo.

The Bills have a lot of defensive talent. They have been investing in that side of the ball for awhile, but they’ve been underperforming all year. Their D might play decent next Sunday, but in Toronto they lose their home field advantage so I’m not too worried about their D having a big game.

As for their offense, Buffalo’s front office basically knee-caps their team every year, refusing to invest well in the offensive line, WR, or QB positions. They have gotten lucky with RBs, but with Freddie Jackson out, they’re hurting a bit. He’s the soul of that team.

People are right that you can’t look past Buffalo, they can hurt you. But the other thing to know about the Bills is they are really good at screwing up and beating themselves.

  33. “Is there another site that does game time & weekly chats?”

@mocarob, Danny O’Neil does similar live chats over at seattle times. I sit in on Danny’s chats sometimes, and he’s a very funny entertaining guy, but I have to say I’ve always preferred what Eric and Dave and our motley crew of bloggers do here.

  34. bbnate420 says:

Surprised that the Bills are 21st in yards allowed a game. I thought that they were down there right next to the Saints for much of the year. They must be playing better lately.

Georgia, haven’t been here for a few days. No, I didn’t flag the comment. I’m not really a fan of that. I would eventually if someone like that repeatedly did the same thing over and over. And I even said, I didn’t care that it was off topic, but that it was a trolling comment that was intended to incite and veer the discussion away from football. And it would’ve been the same if I agreed with it. I have made political comments before, but I believe they have always been in response to someone else or when the thread had some political/social connection. For example, when Lynch was charged with the DUI.

P.S. I don’t believe that Eric monitors the comments. He may have some say about how lenient they are. He alluded to this when someone accused McGrath of deleting their comment.

  35. bbnate420 says:

I also think that Danny O’Neil has a good blog and good live chats. He’s a pretty funny guy. He and Eric are both good writers, but they have different perspectives. Eric has more inside knowledge about the game since he played it. The major difference between the blogs to me is the caliber of posters. It’s a million times better here. Hope everyone sticks around at least a little since you will have 15 views a month, whatever that means exactly. That’s assuming that erasing cookies doesn’t work.

  36. montanamike2 says:

The problem with the “times” is that there are about a dozen ACIB over there, the PI’s actually a lttle worse. I would like to stay here as this has been my favorite site for almost 20 years, if they lower the cost to reasonable then it might be worth a nominal fee to keep out the trolls. Otherwise it’s probably Field Gulls or Seahawks Addict.
I have learned so much from this site due to other bloggers and like the interactions with other fans(not trolls). I also like the unbiased writing of Eric and Dave.

  37. montanamike2 says:

I’ve only thrown one insult at ACIB after he pissed off Eric and then i was pissed, and that was after a harsh week of his antics. Other that i’ve never critisized anyone ever. This blog is alive because of the posters. In a way i feel bad for Eric because i know this is coming from up above. I didn’t mean to leave out Ryan D for his writing as well.

  40. GeorgiaHawk says:

And now for the moment we’ve all been waiting for.

Hey montanamike2, are you going to your secret place this morning?
I wish we had a place to go to like that down here. It’s a little cold for the South today.

  41. GeorgiaHawk says:

bbnate420- I’m glad it wasn’t you that flagged that poster. I think for the most part the bloggers here have done a pretty good job of responding to posts like that, ( for example like you did ) without having to resort to having posts deleted.
I think it can become a slippery slope of blog policing if it goes down that road, however I agree with you that the repeated stuff should be taken care of, and imo that goes for the malicious repeated football related comments that are directed at our players and posters too.

  42. bbnate420 says:

Georgia, while I NEVER liked the ACID repeated junk posts I don’t think I would EVER flag one of those. As dumb as I think they are, they are always Seahawks related. And there is no ABSOLUTE line, but I agree with someone before that you get A LOT more leeway when you are talking football or something related to the thread as opposed to just throwing some unrelated, religious or political BS out there. I say religious or political, because those are 2 topics almost guaranteed to start a conflagration.

  43. hawkfaninoklahoma says:

guys just an idea but seahawk addicts is pretty much a dead site they are posting but not much for comments on there. some of you have a real flair for writing and could probably post articles there, it wouldn’t be the same as here but it would give us the opportunity to keep the group together. we could get links up every morning for the hawks news out there and have a place to chat about it.

  44. confucious says:

Maybe Duke could give us all $10 a month and we could just stay here. I think he should be able to talk his fellow Nike managers into a blog sponsership.

  46. bbnate420 says:

I have never been a facebook contributor. I joined just to hopefully be added to the link/group that SandpointHawk posted. It hopefully will be a cool place if this goes to shit. BTW, it gave me some insight into some posters here. I had already seen RADEoN from when he posted his page before. I was somewhat off on my impressions of Duke and BobbyK, no offense, if they are fairly recent photos. I assume BobbyK’s is since he’s holding a baby and has talked about having a little one. I just assumed that both were fairly older than me. Don’t know why exactly. I’m 31 and, It looks like neither is much older than that if at all.

BTW, you have a nice looking family Bobby. Congrats. Duke, I’m assuming that’s your 62 reissue in the photo with you. It looks awesome. Are you a lefty or is it just the picture?

  47. SandpointHawk says:

bbnate420 you have been added, thanks for stopping in. We are trying to decide on a direction for our collective fan future. Look forward to your contribution.

  48. I just saw at that they are celebrating 12/12/12 with a flag raising at 12:12 today.

  49. bbnate420 says:

Thanks, Sandpoint. I’ll keep it all constructive, unless the Maker’s Mark takes over that is!

  50. Another site i follow is He is really thourough and done a ton of research to get stats/info etc. on the team. He also does online chats with players, media outlets and live game day coverage. Definitely worth a look for a place to blog as well

  51. Ewalters7354 says:

bbnate, I thought those guys were old too lol…but hell me being 24 makes a lot of people seem old

  52. bbnate420 says:

The only thing I will say that there is a difference between local reporters having access to the team and players and a lot of free bloggers. I’m willing to pay for this. A lot of bloggers pull their “news” from them. I really believe that they could offer a more enticing option if they reorganized. They need to realize that the community that has been developed is a large part of it. Charging 10 $ will kill it most likely. A small paper like the TNT has to get some money from subscriptions, but I bet they would make more money if they charged like 3 $ per month.

  53. Sandpoint, i have also asked to join. Good idea. Name is Jeff. Thanks

  54. bbnate420 says:

EWalters, you’re 24? I remember those days. AHHHHHAAAAAAAAA

  55. bbnate420 says:

EWalters, I didn’t mean old just to clarify. I hope 31 isn’t that old, and I didn’t think Duke or BobbyK was really old, like 60+ or anything. I guess I just assumed they were like late 30’s to 40’s. I must still have the mindset that I’m fairly young even though I’m 31. I know that’s not that young.

  56. Ewalters7354 says:

bbnate, I gotcha.31 isn’t old at all.Neither is 50.I’m just always being called a baby by everyone older than me lol

  57. @sandpoint – I just requested to join the FB page too — – Dan S.

  58. I liked Seahawkaddicts for years. I will join back up and see if anyone from this blog gets over there.

I’ve really enjoyed the discussions/arguments/etc with folks from this blog since I first started commenting in 2005. I hope most if not all of you will resurface on various Hawk blogs, and like I said, if some of you want to write stuff or Seahawkaddicts, Im sure Huett would appreciate the added content.

  59. bbnate420 says:

    I’ll check it out, STTBM.

  60. Right now SA is pretty dead, but like I said, if a bunch of us from here start commenting over there..and especially if a few of you guys write something and send it to Huett, we might be able to get the ball rolling…

  61. sluggo42 says:

Ya, I remember the old days at addicts, I’m good for that too.
I suddenly feel real old here in my upper 50’s… Sigh…

  62. sluggo42 says:

    Hey, is 12/12/12 – 12:12

  63. letsworkitout says:

Bills lost in NE by a touchdown a few weeks later they lost by a touchdown in Indy. They won 2 games they should have mixed in there. That is the last 4 or 5 games. They are playing better.
