Offensive guard James Carpenter returned to the field for the first time in four weeks due to a head injury, and was a limited participant in practice today.
Running back Marshawn Lynch (back), defensive end Greg Scruggs (oblique), cornerback Byron Maxwell (hamstring), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (groin) and linebacker K.J. Wright (concussion) were full participants.
Every one of the players on Seattle’s 53-man roster practiced today.
For Miami, linebacker Austin Spitler (Ankle) did not participate in practice today. Middle linebacker Karlos Dansby (bicep), punter Brandon Fields (left knee) and center Mike Pouncey (ankle) were full participants in practice for the Dolphins.
The Seahawks made a couple roster moves today, bringing back receiver Charly Martin from the practice squad to the active roster. Martin fills the spot left vacant because of rookie safety Winston Guy’s four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
With an open spot created by Martin moving up, the Seahawks added receiver Corbin Louks to the practice squad.
At 6-foot and 200 pounds, Louks began his college career at the University of Utah where he played running back for the Utes, rushing 60 times for 380 yards (6.3 per-carry avg.) and four touchdowns during the 2007-08 seasons.
Louks then transferred to the University of Nevada in 2009 and had to sit out the season. He opened 2010 as the starting safety and moved to wide receiver in 2011.
He caught 26 passes for 303 yards and one touchdown during his senior season.
