Despite the 1-4 record, this season seems to be a bit different. The team showed up in all games on the road except the Rams game (fake field goal, grrrrrrrr). The games in Arizona and Detroit should really have been wins if one of three passes would have been caught or if the defense could have stopped ONE MORE third and long. The team is competitive on the road and that is very different from years past. It is a long flight but really not much longer than to Carolina. I agree with hawkfaninoklahoma that this could point the way. The team knows how important this is and they know the history of 10am games on the east coast and the coaching staff had two weeks to prepare. No excuses here.

Over the hawks history it is always a shot in the dark as to if we’ll win on the road or not. It doesn’t seem to change the percentages if the opponent is good or not. We should beat the dolphins. As raymaines posted, they are trending seriously down. Their beat writers all agreed in Erics links yesterday. They also have terrible attendance at home games. We have superior talent and coaching imo. Will we win? Flip the coin, I’ll call heads.

Sadly, what that probably means is that the Seahawks are in for a serious butt kicking, but my glass is at least 3/4 full. If I were still in a survivor pool, I’d pick ‘um. Go Hawks.
