    War Hawks! Playful Dolphins! Football!

  2. Ewalters7354 says:

Those stats look real similar…hopefully the hawks are focused. We always seem to play teams that are coming off byes or 10 days since they last played and are in desperate need of a win. This has been the most competitive schedule that I can remember.

  3. raymaines says:

What the raw stats don’t show is that the ‘Hawks are trending up and the Dolphins are seriously trending down.

Sadly, what that probably means is that the Seahawks are in for a serious butt kicking, but my glass is at least 3/4 full. If I were still in a survivor pool, I’d pick ‘um. Go Hawks.

  4. hawkfaninoklahoma says:

biggest difference i see is number 3 vs. 21 in total D that is a pretty big difference. i think if Wilson takes care of the ball and the D contains bush hawks win this going away. have to agree Ray the fins are starting that mid season slide into mediocrity. if the hawks show up ready to play i don’t see the fins winning they just are not good enough if the hawks play well.

  5. confucious says:

The trend or stat that has always bothered me the most is our road wins. Over the hawks history it is always a shot in the dark as to if we’ll win on the road or not. It doesn’t seem to change the percentages if the opponent is good or not. We should beat the dolphins. As raymaines posted, they are trending seriously down. Their beat writers all agreed in Erics links yesterday. They also have terrible attendance at home games. We have superior talent and coaching imo. Will we win? Flip the coin, I’ll call heads.

  6. Dukeshire says:

You never quite know what Dolphin team you’re going to get. If they come out and execute, this will be a difficult game, despite the fact Seattle is a better team.

  7. mojjonation says:

All the numbers show is that Seattle is better in sevral statistical categories. It’s a road game. It’s on the east coast. The team has had two weeks off. This has letdown written all over it.

  8. hawkfaninoklahoma says:

well i think this game has the potential to tell us where the hawks really are at. they went on the road and beat the panthers a very winnable game they should have and did win, if they can do it again against the fins i think it shows a change in culture around here. they should and must win this game if they want to make the playoffs. time for the hawks to show what they are made of.

  9. Vancouver_Hawk68 says:

The story about the road woes has been discussed ad nauseam. Despite the 1-4 record, this season seems to be a bit different. The team showed up in all games on the road except the Rams game (fake field goal, grrrrrrrr). The games in Arizona and Detroit should really have been wins if one of three passes would have been caught or if the defense could have stopped ONE MORE third and long. The team is competitive on the road and that is very different from years past. It is a long flight but really not much longer than to Carolina. I agree with hawkfaninoklahoma that this could point the way. The team knows how important this is and they know the history of 10am games on the east coast and the coaching staff had two weeks to prepare. No excuses here.
    Go Hawks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. sluggo42 says:

No worries, this will be the next blowout win for us.. We are trending up and improving every game. Opposite for the fins. They haven’t had to deal with the beast, and they will not ready. This will be a good Wilson on the road breakout win, probably 3 tads for him thru the air, and close to 300. But it is possible that that rice throws for close to 100 with a td too…
