Hey Guys, Just got back from a much needed vacation in Mexico. I didn’t get to see the Seahawks game but saw a few others all broadcast in Spanish. Pretty interesting to watch and kind of funny. My question was I saw the NFL ticker at the bottom of the screen and Seattle was ahead by 3 with a few mins to go. What is the deal with our “ELITE” secondary allowing game winning drives by some teams? makes no sense. The Lions are a decent team but WTF happenend? Disappointing loss. I am getting tired of hearing about OK QB’s all of a sudden able to drive down the field at the end of the game and score on our supposed fantastic defense. Someone please fill me in. Damn DVR filled up while i was away so the game was deleted to make room for my wife’s silly shows. ARG! I just don’t understand Pete’s philosophy at this point? Anyone able to fill me in a little? I don’t need a play by play but what the hell happened? Pete better change things up or we are seriously looking at an 8-8 season. that is no joke. dammit….thanks for letting me vent. :)

  2. I like the idea of using Leon Washington in the Bubble Play as the receiver. Or Turbin…The idea for a Running-back rather say Tate(that doses like to run backwards into a tackle.) Hey just an idea how about calling Deon Butler up (good possession receiver). He knows the Playbook & knows how far to go to get 1st down (Tate always comes up short.) Rob,it`s Megatron (calvin Johnson)–Sherman was Optimus-Prime

Eric – I wanted to offer the correct pronunciation of the Bears’ MLB. It’s not Ur-lah-ker…it’s Ur-lack-er (like linebacker).

Just wanted to share that in case you talk to him on 12/2.

DFloydd – Stafford was able to move the ball much the same way that GReen Bay did by throwing lots of short check downs to the RB/slot receivers that went for 6 – 8 yards a pop. They had 3rd and goal at the 1 yrd line, Browner allowed an inside release to the receiver because we called zone coverage and KJ Wright didn’t step forward into the throwing lane to prevent the low inside slant completion for the TD.

DFloydd @ always liked you, but it’s Thursday now, please don’t make us rehash this. Go back and start with the Sunday live game chat and read through the Monday posts until we finally settled down. You will get the idea (and more)….glad you had a nice vacation….

  6. DFloydd says:

Thanks. And yes, rehashing a loss is awful. My apologies. :)
