My apologies for posting this late, but get your picks in before tonight’s Chiefs-Chargers contest right here.
C_hawkfan took Week 8 with 12 correct, missing the Seattle-Detroit game and Cleveland’s upset win over the Chargers.
But JazBadAzz still leads the competition with 78, even though he only finished with seven correct last week.
I finished with nine correct to climb a couple more spots up the ladder.
way to go jazbadazz

Inconsistent hands and ball reactions — too many drops. Average speed and suddenness. Not an explosive athlete. Runs a bit upright. Pedestrian leaping ability. Average elusiveness after the catch. Lacks finishing strength as a blocker. – Kearse

What did he do to you Rad?

@radeon – all that matters this week with regards to kearse is can he run down the field and tackle somebody. if he can do that, his scouting report won’t matter a bit. i don’t remember if he played special teams for the huskies or during the preseason. he has a chance to make the team moving forward with hustle and guts. should he do it well enough, he will buy himself some time to develop into something better than the report you posted.

It takes a lot of effort to stay on top of the ” I told you so” pile RADEoN. Well done.

Good job of cut and paste there Rade. Again, love your enthusiasm for the team. Spirit! Rah!
I remember a few uDub games that he looked pretty darn good and I recall him making some nice grabs in preseason. I personally think he will do well, but one never knows in this league, well, nobody except Rade…

Piling on, 15 yard penalty, still third down.
Although preferring to stay far away from the rancor that has overtaken this board at times I think jumping on someone for cut and paste is kind of petty. Now if you want to mention no link to his source I might agree.
However if he writes his opinion he is a hater, if he does some research and drops it here it gets about the same reaction.
As for Kearse looking good in some Udub games and preseason games I agree, but I also recall how good Tater looked in some ND games and is such a star every preseason, and I’m still waiting to see if that ever happens consistently in live games.
Oh and here is the link…

I think the “dropsy” problem with Kearse is fair. He has pretty good athletic skills. He was basically universally ranked from the 2-4 round after his junior year. I’m not necessarily saying he will be a player, but he has the talent to at least be a decent player. I for one hope he takes advantage. He’s 6’1″ 210 and ran a 4.54 40. That’s not bad athletically, at all. Drops were his major problem. I think he may curb that if he is focused. Right now, unless both Edwards and Baldwin sit out, he’s not going to get many, if any passes thrown his way.

Damn, forgot the Thur. game. I have 73, tied for 40th, which isn’t horrible, but it’s getting to the time it might be pointless.

Eric, off subject, do you think Seattle will have a basketball team in 2013 if we are getting one? I haven’t been following as closely, but I will probably follow the NBA a little more if I think that Seattle is likely to have a team in 2013. I tried to follow the Blazers in 2009, but it just wouldn’t take. Even with my boy Roy on the team.
P.S. Sorry for posting a different subject, but this thread has been light and there’s no where else to post it. I guess I could’ve e-mailed him?
