There’s no real surprises among Seattle’s active roster for today’s game here at San Francisco.

Safety Kam Chancellor, who was probable with an ankle injury, is active today. And so is defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (groin).

Cornerback Byron Maxwell (hamstring) is inactive. Maxwell was listed as doubtful on Seattle’s injury report on Wednesday.

For San Francisco, offensive tackle Joe Staley (concussion) is active for this game. Staley was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report. However, receiver Mario Manningham (shoulder) is inactive for San Francisco.

Randy Moss or Kyle Williams likely will start in place of Manningham.

Here’s the full list.

WR Charly Martin
SS Winston Guy
CB Danny Gorrer
CB Byron Maxwell
OL J.R. Sweezy
OL John Moffitt
DT Jaye Howard

San Francisco
QB Scott Tolzien
WR A.J. Jenkins
RB LaMichael James
S Trenton Robinson
OL Joe Looney
WR Mario Manningham
DT Ian Williams

Staley in the game is not a good thing. Our D line needs to bring the A game. Stop the run, and Alex will be asked to throw into the strength of the to love this match up. I’d suspect this game could be epic. I will set the tone for the division. Go Hawks!

Where is the edit function..anyway I hate the SF love going on the NFL channel.

I find it really difficult to fathom that Staley is playing with all the emphasis on player safety. He left a game with a concussion less than 96 hours ago!

  4. DisplacedSeahawkFan says:

The 49rs will probably get fined, or at least questioned, about their decision to let Staley play.

RW, they are going to stack the box up on you young man. One or two early completions will ease that up. Feed the beast, playaction a few quick hitters, then GASH THEM DEEP. Cus they are going to try to jump some early routes. MAKE THEM PAY!!! dearly.

Yes, the lovefest for the 49ers is disgusting, but with Mariuchi, what do you expect?

    Marshall for the Hawks? huh?
