JIRISH: I see your point, and yes, Pete & John got most of the guys that make our current defense. An yes, Pete made this defensive group, but Gus is the one who makes it tick, and has these guys playing to their current level. Pete is a great rah-rah, keep it up-beat coach, but Gus is the game planner and the guy who these players respond to. Pete has mentioned more than once that Gus has had a great game plan for these guys. Am I wrong here guys?

So if push came to shove, I still believe Gus has more upside in his future than Pete. I just like his style. And don't get me wrong, I like PC a bunch.

Hawks defense will make Brady throw some incompletions, whether they be intentional throw-aways or just well defended balls, and that will stop the clock and allow for substitutions. Mix in the 12th Man with all morning to get fueled up and its a pretty stiff combination even for a Hall-of-Famer like Tom Brady.

Now that our defense is number one, and likely to at least stay in the top five, I fear we will loose Gus Bradley as someone will offer him a head coach position. As much as I do like Pete Carroll, I would want the Seahawks to offer Gus the head job here and send Pete down the road. This guy is a truly great coach!

Not at all. In fact what I think seperates Brady is his exceptional vision of the field. He has the ability to decode coverages and process checkdowns very quickly. Assignment correct defense will be important to cause Brady to hold the ball longer and create time for the pass rush to rattle him. He may be good but he HATES to get hit.

I'm worried about Brandon Llyod more than anyone else the patriots have....poor Browner was abused when he was with the rams last year, and now he has brady...oh boy!

But Browner is a lot better, and with Kam being able to play the run as good as many LB's, I'm not worried if they try to run out of a pass formation...keep that in mind if Irvine is on the field during a no huddle pats series!
