Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Russell Okung worked with the trainers during pre-game workouts today, but apparently could not convince them he was healthy enough to play.
So Okung will not be active for today’s game because of a bone bruise on his left knee, which means Frank Omiyale will get his first career start at left tackle for the Seahawks.
Tight end Zach Miller, Seattle’s other player listed as questionable for today’s game, is active and will play. And rookie Winston Guy, part of Seattle’s big nickel package, will be inactive today. And rookie defensive end Greg Scruggs, who missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury, is active today.
For Dallas, defensive tackle Jay Ratliff is out with a high-ankle sprain. And starting center Phil Costa (back) also will not play today. Ryan Cook will start at center for Dallas in his place. Here’s the full list.

Shawn Springs (sp?) is being interviewed right now on the pregame radio show. He will raise the 12th man flag. So far no references to “Egypt”.

I assume many of you remember him saying after he left Seattle that it was like playing in Egypt.

I sure hope okung not playing is on the coaches, otherwise wow. His pain tolerance is next to none.

Shawn Springs 12th man flag – terrible choice! What did he ever do here to raise the flag

Things may not be as gloomy as they seem…
You don’t see the Hawks being one catch away from beating AZ at home a good thing now? How they are beating the Pats..
And since the NYG looks horrible vs the Bucs it doesn’t give you hope that Dallas may not be as good as they seemed after week 1?
And they might be a little rusty after 11days off?

Wow, cards D looks for real…straight shutting down the patriots. I guess RW didn’t do that bad last week, they are making Brady look average. Hernandez getting hurt has as much to do with it though.

We’re so getting killed today. Dallas’s defensive front seven are going to eat us…
And it looks like AZ may be better than thought, at least defensively.

Lets hope we come out fighting, none of this soft, unable to compete until we make half time adjustments.
Coaches know they will send pressure for RW and they know they will try and run the ball to the outside.
Lets hope we are ready for it and have schemed for it
