As expected, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will be active for today’s season opener today against Arizona.

Lynch had been limited this week due to back spasms, but did practice this week and said he felt good heading into today’s game.

Seattle head coach Pete Carroll also said that cornerback Byron Maxwell would be a game-time decision because of a shoulder issue. Maxwell is inactive today, so he will not play.

For Arizona, running back Beanie Wells was questionable with a hamstring issue. But Wells is active for today’s game.

Paul McQuistan’s twin brother Pat McQuistan was signed this week by Arizona because of the team’s injuries along the offensive line. However, Pat McQuistan is not active today.

Here’s the full list.

Seattle
RB Kregg Lumpkin
CB Byron Maxwell
OL John Moffitt
OL James Carpenter
WR Golden Tate
DT Jaye Howard
DE Greg Scruggs

Arizona
QB Ryan Lindley
WR LaRon Byrd
CB Greg Tolar
RB William Powell
LB Reggie Walker
OT Pat McQuistan
OG Senio Kelemete

  1. Dukeshire says:

Has Wells ever *not* been questionable? Seriously. He is always on the injury report.

  2. princeaden says:

What about Moffitt ? I wonder about him suddenly. Is this because of his elbow or is he falling out of favor ?

  3. princeaden says:

I also wish Scruggs was available. I think he could really help the pass rush.

  4. Soggybuc says:

Lynch must be fine or else Lumpkin would be active, surprised by Howard as I thought the rotation could have used him.
