Can Russell Wilson be a difference maker in his first NFL start against Arizona? Will Marshawn Lynch take the field on Sunday? And can Seattle’s front seven generate a consistent pass rush against Arizona’s depleted offensive line?

Rob Rang, senior draft analyst with NFLDraftScout.com, and Eric Williams of The News Tribune answer those questions and others in our first Seahawks Insider podcast of the 2012 season.

Can’t download to my iPad..it’ll have to wait till tomorrow.

I just rewatched the last game of the season, and here is simply why Hawks win it this time.
PC took care of most of the issues, time took care of the rest. The QB play is an obvious upgrade. TJack didn’t get much help though, since it was obvious Marshawn was nicked up. Forsett, love the LBM, but Turbin will be huge we hope. Obo dropped as many potential clutch plays, as Fitzgerald caught. Fitzgerald has to be potentially the best in the league. Hawks were without Okung…time has healed there. Washington had a huge game as RB, I hope we don’t need him as much. TE was non-existent..where was Zach..oh yeah, Okung was out.

On D, it is pretty obvious that we were slow at LB. KJ Wright was a standout, but Hawthorne had only an Okay game. The line speed with Bruce will truly be interesting, because there wasn’t much speed. Big Red was a man among men, he was all over the place.

The key to that lose…if I had to pick one, Obo dropped some beautiful passes which would have extended play at crucial times. He dropped a 35-40 pass for a touchdown. It was a miserable day for him…this time, we have Rice and Edwards vs Obo/Tate.

    Oh yeah, Hawks win, 27-20.

BTW..Marshawns playtime will determine just how big of a blow out its going to be. If healthy, and playing majority of snaps, it could be ugly for the Cards. They could not stop him.

  2. I read that Pats signed TE other than Winslow, not sure if they still interested in him, wouldn’t think so given he can’t practice every practice. If a reciever has trouble making all practices how can there be a good rapport w/ QB? McCoy has been catching ball, hope he continues that trend. Should Lynch not play Turbin/Lumpkin combo should work fine. One of the hard thing for defenses is planning for a QB that doesn’t have any reg season film on, hopefully that trend works in Hawks favor w/ Wilson. Pressure on Skelton will be key, Skelton like most any NFL QB given time in pocket will pick a “D” apart. I like Hawks “O” and “D” in this match up, but Hawks ST’s could be key in terms of battle for field position.
    I’m guessing a 27 – 9 final score.

  3. How did Winslow’s rapport look w/Tampa last year w/out practicing, I think it was like 70-80 catches, I think half for 1st downs, and 800yds. Just throwin’ that out there.

  4. Love these podcasts.
