Goes with what I said “CRAPTACULAR”

  2. JazBadAzz says:

Nike hire the best people in the world to design their product. They choose us to be the face of the NFL with these new uni’s and I would trust them when it comes to athletic fashion. Its hard to grasp what we actually have from some screen shots on a web page! Just wait, every team and their fans are going to be envy with jealousy!

  3. RDPoulsbo says:

I’ve been refreshing the page waiting for them to update these fugly photos. When are they coming out with the real jersey again?

It should be a SEAHAWKS uniform. Why are Nike logos more prominent and any Seahawk logo is just an afterthought?

  4. Dukeshire says:

That swoosh on the sleeve ought to be a Seahawk.

    RD – That’s funny.

  5. JazBadAzz says:

I don’t mind not having the seahawks logo on it because, this is the 1st of its kind and there isn’t 1 in the entire league that it resembles. No mistaken this is the best, most unique uniform in the league! The only jersey with accent of flash green is unmistakable with or with out a logo!

A college equipment guy stated that most jerseys are dry by the time the players make it to the locker room after games! Amazing!

  6. I suppose they picked Marshawn for his looks — they were trying to make the uniforms look good in comparison.

  7. Too bad all of the nfl teams have the rain repelling fabric.

  8. bigsmooth says:

You really get a grasp on how much NEON green there is in that Kam twit pic. Way too much. On the uni, shoes, gloves…wtf.

  9. HarbaughsMother says:

The nike logo on the sleeve is an abomination. That is so big, it’s really, really bad.

  10. chrisj122 says:

Because of the Nike logo that is so largly visible on the sleeve I suppose the replica jerseys will cost about a $100. more.

Just another reason to really dislike Nike.

  11. Now this is waaaay off topic but in 10 recent mock drafts (6 sportsline.com, 3 nfl.com and espn’s nfc west blog) we’ve got these results for Seattle at #12:

7 project Luke Kuechly to the Hawks.
2 project Quinton Coples to the Hawks.
1 project Dontari Poe to the Hawks.

Sorry for any distraction away from our fashion design discussions.

  12. Heater rummored to have signed with the Saints, bummer. The new unis are still f***’n ungly, double bummer.

  13. Dukeshire says:

    Link? I didn’t see anything.

  14. JazBadAzz says:

    Chris I think the
    Game jersey $100,
    Limited $135,
    Elite $250

Its a bout the same but the quality is going to be way better!

  15. These new uniforms rock. Amazing!

  16. grizindabox says:

Heater agreed to a 5 year deal with Saints

  17. Heard it on the radio.

  18. Seahawks2620 says:

I like them overall, am not thrilled, but like them. I am not too fond of the prominent nike logo either, but could care less about the uniforms in the end. I just want a good football team. With Hawthorne signing with the Saints, we need to make a move at LB to keep this defense on the upswing.

I wonder how long it will take for someone to joke, saying that Hawthorne signed with the Saints due to seeing the Seahawks uniform. Ugh.

  19. seahawk44 says:

They could have put the logo on the bottom part of the sleeve like many teams do. There is nothing on the bottom part of the sleeve.

  20. Seahawks2620 says:

If we don’t sign Larry Grant or trade for a starter, the chances of drafting Kuechly just went up significantly, assuming John and Pete like him. I wouldn’t mind trading back a bit and picking up Dont’a Hightower .

  21. Seahawks2620 says:

Everyone can jump on me for what I am about to say, but I am kind of glad that we didn’t give Hawthorne 5 years. He is young, but I would not want to commit that kind of time to him. I just wouldn’t.

  22. seahawk44 says:

Didn’t the Saints also sign Curtis Lofton?

  23. Macabrevity says:

It’s about as bad as commercials at the cinema…. didn’t lower the prices, and we have to stomach it.

    Welcome your Seattle Nikehawks.

As for those mocks giving us Dontari Poe… I’m way down on this guy. He’s a freak in the weightroom, but not much of a baller if you check the tape.

With Heater gone looks like Kuechly just moved up the fan boards.

  24. SandpointHawk says:

2620… I thought of the Uniform / Hawthorne line, but passed just because I’m not as big of an A$$ as I sometimes seem.

  25. SandpointHawk says:

    Agree on Poe, Mac

  26. JazBadAzz says:

Good for Hawthorne, he will replace the soon to be suspended Jonathan Vilma which I’m assuming will be a yr suspension. They signed Lofton so I’m speculating about this. I didn’t want heater back, I think Leroy needs to be signed and this needs to be done pretty quick! I’m not to worried the draft is really deep with LB’s!

I cant wait to see Big Red stretch that new uni out around that barrel chest and belly then move around the field like a bear chasing trout! Go Seahawks!

  27. chrisj122 says:

I read a post on another blog that said “I’m convinced that Seattle really is in Canada and the Seahawks are trying to get into the CFL with these new uniforms.”

  28. Sarcasticus says:

On the uniforms, I really like the helmets. The splash of green here and there is ok with me. Overall, they are not nearly as crazy as I had feared.

On Hawthorne going to NO – Are the Seahawks really going to roll out K.J. Wright, Farwell, and Malcolm Smith? Does this mean Hill will be re-signed (notice I didn’t say resigned…which means the opposite)? I can’t imagine they would want to start the year with two new linebackers. Keuchly looks more and more like the choice to me. I would have preferred Hawthorne and Hill brought back and then DeCastro picked at 12.

  29. Too bad about Hawthorne. Creates some real need in that area of the team now – got to address it somewhere in the draft. What’s up with Hill?

  30. grizindabox says:

I am not sure Keuchly will be there at 12.

  31. Dukeshire says:

The so-called “elite” jerseys don’t look like what Lynch, Konz, and Kam had on. Look how much longer the sleeves are. Weak sauce. These things look like a bad college team.

I’m terribly disappointed Heater is moving on. He worked his ass off for the Seahawks and became a very productive player. It was a pleasure rooting for him, and I wish him the best.

  32. HawkfaninMT says:

ANy other FAs available at MLB that would be an upgrade over a rookie?

I think former 1st rd pick Ernie Sims is still teamless. EJ Henderson and London Fletcher are older options. Man! Demeco Ryans for a 4th is sounding more and more like a missed opportunity for our Hawks

  33. HawkfaninMT says:

Larry Grant has been high on my list since I saw what he was tendered.. I think he would fit in really well

  34. AT $100 bucks I will be wearing my 4 year old #12 for a few more years!
