Greetings from Cowboys Stadium. There were no real surprises on today’s inactive list for Seattle. Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral), as expected, is active for today’s game and appeared to throw the ball fine during pre-game workouts.

Defensive tackle Alan Branch (knee/hip) also got the okay from Seattle’s trainers and is active today. But Cameron Morrah (toe/hip) did not make it and will be inactive, which means Seattle will got with two tight ends, Zach Miller and Anthony McCoy.

For Dallas, the Cowboys waived offensive lineman Daniel Lober and signed punter Chris Jones from the practice squad to the active roster because regular punter Matt McBriar (left foot) cannot go and is inactive.

That means that quarterback Tony Romo, who of course bobbled the snap for a short field goal in Seattle’s 2006 NFC Wild Card win, will hold for Dallas today.

Dallas cornerback Michael Jenkins (hamstring) is inactive, so Orlando Schandrick will start for him. And inside linebacker Sean Lee (wrist) is inactive, and veteran Keith Brooking will start for him.

Here’s the full list

Seattle
QB Josh Portis
WR Kirs Durham
SS Jeron Johnson
CB Ron Parker
OT Jarriel King
TE Cameron Morrah
DT Al Woods

Dallas
P Matt McBriar
CB Mike Jenkins
RB Felix Jones
LB Sean Lee
OL Kevin Kowalski
OG David Arkin
DE Clifton Geathers.

Does Mike Williams start over Obomanu?

  2. Pabuwal: We’ll see. Depends on what personnel group Seattle opens up in.
