As expected, the Seattle Seahawks made a couple roster moves to shore up their depth heading into Sunday’s contest against Cleveland.
Seattle released defensive tackle Jason Shirley and linebacker Stephen Franklin from the active roster. Both were recent additions and had short stays in Seattle.
And with the two free spots, the Seahawks brought tight end Cameron Morrah off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list to the active roster, and also added safety Chris Maragos from the practice squad.
The Morrah move was somewhat expected because Seattle had only one healthy tight end with Zach Miller still out, but I am a little surprised by Maragos because I don’t think he’ll be on the active roster on Sunday.
But maybe Seattle was concerned a team was interested in adding Maragos to their active roster, and the Seahawks wanted to make sure they kept the Wisconsin product around.
Shirley you jest Eric!

All the Big time QB’s of the upcoming draft playing tonight…wonder which one we will get next yr? I like Landry Jones the more I see him, even Matt Barkely over Luck…just saying!

Anyone over Luck – I am sorry I disagree. The guy calls all the plays at the line – light years ahead of sooo many QB’s some guys can’t do that in the Pro’s. You can’t teach that easily or at all for some.
He is big, strong, accurate, smart and a gamer. Don’t think you could want much more from a guy coming out of college

xcman you are right, Im wrong…he’s putting his guys in position to be wide open! His footwork is superb and you seems to know the defenses better than themselves. I was wrong.
Im watching ND and USC in HD and the Irish golden domes look spectacular.

Hmm, probably a waste of time talking about Luck at this point. He is not going to be a Seahawk. I don’t think our coach is capable of throwing games for the right to draft a player. Indy and other teams…we will see?

After a Purple and Gold beatdown, Seattle now looks to Touchdown Jesus to deliver it from football purgatory.
Go Hawks, please.
