No surprises on the Seattle Seahawks inactive list this morning. Safety Kam Chancellor, who was doubtful heading into Sunday’s contest, is inactive today.

That means Atari Bigby will start at safety.

I did see Robert Gallery out on the practice this morning getting a workout in, so that’s good.

Atlanta receiver Roddy White, questionable coming into today’s contest with a thigh issue, is active today and will start.

However, defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (knee) and linebacker Stephen Nicholas (calf) will not start for the Falcons.

Mike Peterson will start for Nicholas, and Peria Jerry will start for Babineaux.

Here’s the full list.

Seattle inactives
QB Josh Portis
WR Kris Durham
SS Kam Chancellor
CB Byron Maxwell
OL Robert Gallery
OL Jarriel King
DT Al woods.

Atlanta inactives
CB Darrin Walls
RB Jason Snelling
LB Stepehn Nicholas
OL Brett Romberg
OG Mike Johnson
DT Jonathan Babineaux
DE Cliff Matthews

  1. Dukeshire says:

Too bad about Kam. If this were 2007, would love Bigby at SS. 2011? Not so much.

  2. Portis inactive again. Are the seahawks goin to release him?

  3. Soggybuc says:

Hopefully Bigby can have a solid game. thats really all he has to do is not blow it. good to see us having both FB’s active. will be interesting to see how they use them.

  4. Soggybuc says:

I doubt it Origun . there are seven inactive every week so there is always a healthy scratch or two. Durham is inactive because they are going with five runners instead of the usual four.

  5. Dukeshire says:

No. They’re not going to release him. He’ll only be active due to injury.
