I read somewhere that Clinton Portis is here because Carrol has been unimpressed with Forsett this preseason. Portis and Forsett both have a similar skill set in the passing game, as far as receiving and blocking during passing situations goes. Anyway, I hope it's just a rumor because I like Forsett better, and besides Forsett is 5 years younger than Portis.

I hope we keep all 4 RB's some how.
they are all different guys - I am not sure that Lynch has the vision to be a great back. Very good back yes - great back no.

Washington is my #2 guy that if you put him and Baldwin back to return kicks opposing teams should be very worried. plus he can catch out of the back field and do some running inside (although I don't think he could handle a full load)

Forsett can go inside or out and jitter bug out yards AND catch and run.

Clayton to me seems to be a better vision guy than Lynch but stronger/more physical than Forsett/Washington - not as fast as those guys either.

He seems that he could be one of those guys that comes in after an injury and saves the day -

Hey look at NYG for the last few years - they have had to use 2/3 or 4 RB each of the last few years GB last year was another one.

I would also love, Love, LOVE to see some non Traditional line-ups with 2 RB's
What kind of options and match up problems could you create with Lynch and Washington in the backfield at the same time. Both can run/catch/block etc.

so here is my vote to keep 4 - and I would do that before I kept 6 WR's comparing the 2 groups

I'm with orbeavhawk , Clayton's a keeper - in fact if you look at just this preseason he's outplayed Forsett !

I can't imagine why they'd have any interest in Portis . He's done .

What about Clayton? They must not think much of his ability to "do the job" on a part time basis eh? Seems to me, running against the 2's anyway - that he seems pretty good!
