And I’m going to make the front 7 (defense in it’s entirety, really) a pet project throughout the preseason and into the regular games. I’m fascinated by defensive schemes and love studying it. So I’ll continue to pass along what I see until someone tells me to shut the hell up. lol

Probably the worst offensive line performance of the preseason. Maybe that’s because the Saints brought their A-game to their pass rush, but still the 49ers offense looked completely unprepared. Alex Smith and Kaepernick were both running for their lives and overwhelmed by pass rush. Harbaugh and crew fielded an offense that still has a lot of work to do.

This is giving me great hopes that we can march into San Francisco on opening day and steal a victory!

We vacation down there every chance we get for the French Qtr Fest, etc.. Love it, and I’m a big Saints fan here as a result. Last time down we got lots of dirty looks from Saints fans since our Seahawks had just knocked Saints out of the playoffs! It must be difficult these days saying you’re a Seahawks fan in NOLA!

Duke – thanks for the detailed review of the D line. You’re on top of things and its only preseason week one! I haven’t started up my NFL Rewind subscription yet, which is how I like to re-watch games.
