Personally, I don't see either Jennings or Babs coming back. As for corner, open season behind camp starters Tru / Walter, no? Their secondary is loaded with talent, impossible to predict any roster yet

How many CB's have the Hawks kept the last few years?

I am thinking that these guys have best chance of sticking
Trufant
Thurmond
Browner
and ?!?!?!?

Safety to me looks like
Thomas
Chancellor
and and open competion behind that

I actually heard talk that if Jennings is not signed in a week they might bring him back. Ouch!

I would rather like Babs due to the flexibility and williness to lay it out on STeams.

Nice E. Love the "lesser known" guys getting some run.

A young player could do a lot worse than to follow the Babs blueprint. Special teams leading to spot opportunities on D, and the versatility to play in different packages, to playing your way into a starter (if only marginally). I root for guys like him.

Keep these coming Eric, good stuff.

Josh has the profile Coach Carroll is looking for, a tall physical corner. As a senior, he was supposed to move to safety to give him a better chance to catch on in the NFL. Unfortunately, the Trojans suffered injuries at corner, and Coach Carroll asked him to move back to corner. He had his third ACL tear in December of his senior year which is why he was not able to play last season. It is interesting he talks about Babs because he is a similar player, a cross between a safety and corner. If his body can hold up, he can help us. I hope he can make it.
