Hey Dukeshire, here’s a link made just for you buddy. (note: I put no stock in this whatsoever!)

I can remember when I first saw this “Mock Draft Database” and it had a dozen “Mock Drafts” on the page. Look at it now! It runs on for pages and pages (and doesn’t even include some of the reputable scouts like Ourlad, etc.) Apparently EVERYONE on the Internet these days has INSIDE INFORMATION and a Mel-Kiper-like need to explain exactly what will happen in the future. Ha…Draft mania has gotten completely out of control.

By the time you get to #25 teams sometimes will take an OL guy who will not start, like in ’05 when Chris Spencer was taken @ #26. TR was trying to get the best center replacement for Tobeck, who was getting kinda long in the tooth. Then there’s Chris McIntosh. Holmgren took him in ’00 @ #22. He started @ RT 10 games the 1st yr and 3 the next year.

If Watkins is a smoke-jumper, I’d really like to look at a good X-ray of his back, at least.

Mrbaileyboy, I agree with You 100%, but,I wouldn’t spend my 1st round on him (or,Hudson). Second round pick —- for sure. Watkins will do good in NFL,and some team with very few needs will grab him before we do. I’m guessing the Saints or, NE and groom him for a short while so they can (finally) let Mankins go next year.

I hear a lot of comments about the Super Bowl run we’re going to make in 2012 or 2013. Who is going to QB that team? A rookie? A 2nd year player? I’m not confident in Matt in 2013 and I don’t see making a run with a rookie QB and, no, after all the Charlie reports last year, I don’t see the position being played by him at a high level (at least not high enough for a team to go to the SB in spite of its QB play… I guess the positives is he’ll be the “future” as a 30 year old).
