The Seattle Seahawks announced this afternoon that they’ve added cornerback Josh Pinkard and offensive guard Lemuel Jeanpierre from the practice squad to the active roster.

The two players fill spots vacated by offensive guard Chester Pitts (head) and tight end Chris Baker (tight end) when they were placed on the season-ending, injured reserve list earlier this week.

Seattle could be looking at Jeanpierre to fill in as depth along the interior line if Sean Locklear cannot make it back and play on Saturday, with Stacy Andrews currently filling in at right tackle. Locklear has been attending to a serious family issue and missed practice all this week.

Pinkard provides another option in the secondary along with special teams. Pinkard can play both corner or safety, and at 6-1, 218 can matches up well with bigger receivers.

San Fran and Harbaugh agree to 5 year deal. Looks like we got a new 9er’s coach to embarass!!!

  2. Rumor has it that Harbaugh is a prostitute! No doubt, he’s just working his way through school.

  3. MattandCindy says:
  4. If Harbaugh turned down $8M from MIA, how much did they offer him in SF?

  5. The two players fill spots vacated by offensive guard Chester Pitts (head) and tight end Chris Baker (tight end) (?) LOL!

Baker has a “tight end”? Sounds painful – :-D

  6. Audible says:

CB Pinkard, OL Jeanpierre (aka #278, #279). Maybe we’ll break 300 by the time we reach the Superbowl!

Harbaugh turned down Miami because he wasn’t amused when the GM asked him if he’s a prostitute.

  7. BobbyAyala says:

Jim Harbaugh is a 49er, and I’ve officially opened up my heart to hate again.

Eh-hem, let me clear my throat for this.

    (cough-cough), eh-hem, eh-hem…

    #&$! THE SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS!

    That is all.

  8. Audible says:

I love seeing hot women in Carlson jerseys…it’s like they’re inviting you to check ‘em out.

  9. Dukeshire says:

Is there something about that post you’d like to explain? Like where the hell it came from. Lol (And if there’s a photo or link you’d like to provide, we’d all appreciate it, I’m sure.)

What is the deal with Sean Locklear??? Whatever the issue, it seems he’d be back for the playoffs w/o any doubt. If it were a death in the family that would be uncovered and this has already happened, so what gives? Hope he’s not a hawk next season.

  11. Audible says:

Fine, Duke…you asked for it, you got it…

A woman worthy to wear Carlson’s Jersey, or for that matter, any other TE in the NFL.

  12. Audible says:

Just to prove a TE doesn’t have to be painful!

  13. Audible says:

Lock sure has a lot of family matters…

This is the third time in four months he has left the team to handle an undisclosed family situation. September 17th, October 27th, and now.

  14. Audible – Is that the type of TE that put Baker on IR?

  15. elkhorn says:

Wow I’m sorry to hear about Chris Bakers tight end, how long will it keep him out?

offensive guard Chester Pitts (head) and tight end Chris Baker (tight end) when they were placed on the season-ending, injured reserve list earlier this week

  16. Audible says:

No, that’s the kind of TE that would make you forget you’re on IR.

  17. Dukeshire says:

Audible – Lol, thank you. And I did appreciate it.
