An 18 point turnover differential. Wow. You know Carroll is unimpressed with being on the wrong end of that.
Well, they can both throw it fairly well and neither can stop the pass real effectively but the biggest difference is Atl can run it and Seattle can’t. This will be an interesting match up.

there is a big difference between atlanta throwing it pretty well vs the hawks throwing it pretty well
they throw the ball and get their yards scoring points to get ahead. we throw for our yards when we are behind. I see neither of those changing with this game.
game yards vs garbage yards

not to mention a lot of yards against atl have been “garbage yards” (as defined above.
i live in atlanta and am really hoping to shut my friends mouths that have been running the whole season in anticipation of this game.

Only a peripheral analysis of a straight up comparison of the numbers.

This game is going to be ugly. I only hope the Hawks can try to hang in the game since it’s at home and I’ll be there, but doesn’t seem to make a difference this year (NY, KC, got lucky against SD). I love the Hawks, but that last performance was just stupid. I’ve pondered over it for a couple of days now and honestly, the Hawks don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. If they do make it, they will get punked again back to reality. Whats the point differentials been again. If they Hawks get into the playoffs, it will be sad because it won’t be competitive and it will take the spot of another team that would put up a good showing. Last Sunday was basically a playoff game for them and they didn’t even bother to show up. The Hawks have done about the same as I expected, except I never thought they would get destroyed as bad as they have this year in their losses. I’m looking forward to next year and hopefully a more competitive team. It’s sad when it’s 3rd and long and ever single time your nervious because you know the other team is going to convert it, every time and on offense, why do they bother trying to run the ball and when they don’t, the play calling has been a joke.

This game will be over by half time.

This team would have been better off to lose the first ten games and then finish strong. This season has been totally backwards for building confidence for next year.

This team would have been better off to tank the first 16 games and end up with some Luck in the draft.

I really think we can win this game if we can win the turnover battle! Atlanta is good but not great. Our special teams are great!!! Our Fan’s are the greatest!!!!
Just take care of the ball and play your heart’s out!!!
Go Hawk’s!!!

Mr.Luck woudn’t be so lucky with our offensive line like he is with stanford’s!!!

Would McDaniels make a good OC here?
× Flag comment
Well, as disastrous as he was as a head coach his track record, albeit fairly short, as an OC cannot be denied. I question whether Carroll would be willing to pull the plug on Bates just yet unless there are issues we are unaware of, behind the scenes. But it’s an interesting question, none-the-less.
