Dang cold in the Seahawks’ practice facility. Probably mid-30s.

Mike Williams (foot) was still wearing a boot on his left foot, and got in a little time on the exercise bike. Marcus Trufant (concussion) watched while wearing a stocking cap. Tight end Anthony McCoy also was out with a knee injury.

Players returning to practice Thursday were linebacker Lofa Tatupu, defensive end Chris Clemons and receiver Brandon Stokley. Mike Gibson saw time at guard with Tyler Polumbus, and Michael Robinson had full participation.

Thanks Dave, now get home and eat some turkey.

  2. Gobble-gobble.

Had to get back to start working on the print notebook for tomorrow. I’ll drop in a version of it on the blog when I finish it up. The angle was a nice little visit with Golden Tate after practice. He looks very fleet afoot and is eager to get back on the field. An interesting bit of practice was watching Brandon Stokley taking him on the side and showing him some pointers. That sort of thing is hugely important to a young receiver

That’s great to hear. Has Tate been working in the slot a bit then?

  5. Dave Boling says:

Can’t report that sort of thing … mostly, the sharing of information between the two players looked mroe like general route running, getting of the line, etc.

  6. Dukeshire says:

Understood. IMO, he’d be a great fit there, should they choose to use him. We’ll know more Sunday.

  7. GriffinNW says:

Not feeling to good about Trufant being able to return for the game this Sunday, which is a big bummer. Really hope BMW will lace up the shoes on Sunday with or without foot pain. We need his presence and gel with Matt.

Also, really digging the mobile posting feature returning, good work everyone involved!

    GO SEAHAWKS!
