I’m not setting any hopes on a knee of a 300+ lber that has to fix cartilage tears with bloodclot/scabs. Pitts could take pain killers, but his knee is still messed up. Maybe try again next year, like Tubbs did.

Don’t get me wrong because in the history of this blog you have always been one of my favorite writers. I may not always agree with you, but I like reading it.

With that being said…

We should have scored at the end of the first half when we had the ball close to the goal line. Branch should have held onto the ball at the half yard line too.

If you want to “credit” our win to “lucky” kick-off returns, then at least you should acknowledge we “should” have scored on the other two drives. Sure, we didn’t. But if we were in the same situation again — we probably would get the TDs.

You can’t have it both ways — you can’t complain that some of our scores were lucky and not give us the benefit of the doubt when we “should” have scored.

I don’t understand why 2 guys who have played well for us THIS YEAR (Wrotto and Gibson) are cut from the weakest part of the team when there are not better guys out there – or guys that can actually play for you!

Especially the way Denver handed our ass to us on the road.

Never liked the Pitts signing anyway. Microfracture surgery is something to avoid. We should have learned that with Marcus Tubbs and Walter Jones.

I couldn’t figure out why in the heck Pitts wasn’t PUP’d either. It made asbolutely no sense at the time and still doesn’t.

I’m not hating on Mr. Happy and the Duke Boy, but when they do something any of us don’t agree with (NONE of us are perfect) I believe it’s our right and duty to call them out on it.

No reason for too much hating (still pissed off about the Josh Wilson trade) because we’re going to win the division and finish with a winning record. You can’t get too mad about that. :)

Don’t feel bad for Pitts. He is a veteran and was on the opening day roster so his 2010 salary is basically guaranteed. Relax all… he’s going to be able to feed his family. :)
