Just a reminder that if you’re interested in talking about the Seahawks as primer for the beginning of training camp we will be hosting a Seahawks Insider gathering this evening at 6 p.m. here at the Tacoma News Tribune offices at 1950 State Street.

If you can’t stop by, we will have a live chat going on at the same time on the blog, so if you have questions about the team stop by or hit us up on the chat and we will try to answer them.

The Seahawks are one of four teams Houston Texans free agent Chester Pitts is expected to visit this week, reports Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network. He stopped by Buffalo on Monday, and also is expected to visit Pittsburgh and Denver. With the injury issues Seattle had on the offensive line last season, I think they should sign Pitts if they can get him at a reasonable price.

Steve O’Reilly of Skinnypost.con interviews WR Mike Williams in this video link, talking to him about his expectations for this year’s training camp.

The NFL Network continues its On the Fringe series by talking to Seahawks defensive end about his mindset heading into training camp in this video link.

Don Banks of Sports Illustrated has the Seahawks ranked 24th in his pre-camp power rankings.

Fox Sports previews the NFC West here, and says the Deon Butler could emerge as a starting WR next to T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Interesting.

Nice little interview with Mike Williams. I do remember him at SC, he has a lot of talent. I was impressed with his attitude seems humble and committed. Couple that with what was once an ability to dominate and I think there is a good chance for him to be one of the best deals in the NFL this year.

Thanks for taking the time to interact and answer our questions today, it was very cool. I asked if we had a good 1st and 2nd down back…. and I learned a lot about Justin Forsett as well as other good info.
