Fuq,fuq,fuq…… this ZBS better fuqing work. I am so nervous about it—–it’s not even funny. ThIs is the chance of the decade to get a fantastic offensive line to keep us on the top of the game for MANY years to come…..
I know PC is a major upgrade over the fired “troika of morons” we had this last season ( I wanted Jason Garrett or, Dick Lebeau for HC after Dungy turned us down) , and I’ll support just about anything he does in his first year…BUT, I am NOT sold on ZBS !!!!!!

wabubba67 Get two offensive lineman at 6 and 14….whoever is considered to be the best LT on the board at 6, followed by this beast at 14. Matched with Unger this would be a start of the beginning of a young, hungry, big offensive line!

I like this idea could make the whole offense a winning situation at all positions. Someone fax this to PC please

Iupati is going to be a great player to watch for years to come… for some team… but not for the Seahawks. He is not the zone blocking type of lineman they will draft. He’ll be a beast of an OG or OT for some team that loves to man block.

I’ve seen O linemen drafted before by coaches who wanted to convert them into D linemen. I’ve never seen it work.

Nope…here we go!

We trade up from the 2nd to snag Lupati and he can start at LT and DT. Problem solved in the trenches now we can draft playmakers on offense with #6 and #14. I’m so glad that Singletary is not worried about us because we’re going to have a little surprise for the 49ers next year. 8-|

alright, although I still want Berry at 6, and I know we need an OT, I’d sure like to have this guy Iupati!! If we have to take him at 14, then I say we do it. But then we’ve got to make sure we get an OT in FA, or with our 2nd rounder.

Trade down and pick up an extra third round pick and take this guy around 18th overall pick…..

I’d be happy with a LT, This guy + extra 3rd round pick

OR a DT (McCoy or Price) + This guy + extra 3rd round pick

OR a DT (McCoy or Price) + LT + extra 3rd round pick

Except for one snap at OLB against HOU, 28 yo Lance Laury (6-2/237) played STs. But L^2 was Hawks best KO coverage player. He was called for 2 penalties and missed a tackle, but forced a fumble, had 14 solo tackles and an assist. L^2 was followed by Will Herring (8 tackles), DD Lewis (7 tackles) and Nick Reed (6 tackles) in KO coverage performance. L^2 played in punt coverage, but was neither good nor poor, but average, which put him in a 15-way tie for 6th in Hawks punt coverage. Guess you don’t restrict a STs player? Hopefully, 2010 will be L^2′s 5th with the Hawks.

Wonder if Iupati could become an iron man?

A little disappointed about Laury…he seemed to play with a nasty edge that most of the Seahawks lacked.
