An audio chat? Take a listen to it.

On Wednesday, both Eric and I joined the Ian Furness Show via phone in sort of a radio reprise of our chat sessions where Eric is logical, pramatic and informed and while I’m a total smart ass and subject changer. It’s also similar to our podcasts that we did during the season.

As you know Eric and I have regular weekly appearances with Ian, who I consider probably one of the hardest working and most informed sports talk hosts in Seattle, so this was pretty fun.

Take a listen as we discuss all things Hawks … Eric’s sweater vests.

Speaking of chats … Eric and I talked about doing a game chat at least once this weekend, possibly twice, maybe one each day. So I’ll be taking suggestions on which games you would prefer or work best for you.

  1. As a coach, Mora was a cross between Rick Moranis and Mark Wahlberg. Seahawks handling of his demise as their coach was perfect. TL didn’t fire JM to hire PC, PA did. TL didn’t throw away $12M of PAs money unless PA at least agreed. Much like the USA, the NFA has become a communist beaurocracy with so many mutually exclusive counter-intuitive rules that no team can do anything without the threat of being sued, fined or both. TL asked Dungy if he would be the team’s Pres of Football Ops. That was illegal because Dungy is apparently still under some kinda contract with the Colts and the Colts were still in the playoffs – who knew? Yet nothing is mentioned that Dungy is a minority race and was offered the highest position on the team, and , according to TL “would have been a great Pres”. Yet TL supposedly gave Hawks a black eye (is that racist?) because of his lack of sincerety in his interview of the Vikes DC for the Hawks coaching position? HA! Give me a break – does anybody remember Marge Shott? The Hawks probably have as many or more minorities throughout the organization as any other team in the NFL. And that has nothing whatsoever to do with the “Rooney Rule”. It’s because the Hawks want and have the very best personnel in the league to run it’s organization.

Now, let’s get the best GM in the NFL to go with the best HC, and GO HAWKS!!!!!!!

Suggestions for the chat? Early game Saturday (1:30) and the afternoon game Sunday (1:40 ). Simply because Saturday night I’ll likely be out watching the game somewhere, and Sunday morning I want to watch the game in peace (as a result of the aforementioned Saturday night). Thank you.

  3. “As a coach, Mora was a cross between Rick Moranis and Mark Wahlberg”

LOL…that was funny. He sort of looks like a cross of them as well.

    Oh please!!! My lunch!!!!

Chat during the Cowboy/Viking game. It’ll be fun to laugh collectively at Hamlin’s personal fouls and Hutch’s holding calls. Plus, it might be our last look at the best QB that played in our generation (although, I assume we’ll say the same about this year’s MVP in about 5 more years).

  6. John Elway is retired. I’ll take him over Favre or Manning any day.
