He was still an effective DT for several years thereafter.

I hate Notre Dame, and I especially hate their QB’s, but he might be the real deal.. Of course, I would prefer both first-rounders to be used on getting stronger along the trenches, but if we can’t go OL/DL or OL/OL – then I hope we get our QB of the future.. I would not be a fan of drafting Spiller.. I think 2nd round is where we would look at a RB, but I would lean towards a safety depending upon who is available.. Let’s not forget that the draft is only half of the offseason equation, with FA leading up to the draft being just as important if not more-so.

Here is a question I’m curious to see the answer to – Forget the O-line for a second, would you have have Clausen/Best or Locker/Best or Locker/Spiller or Clausen/Spiller? Which combo of those 4 position players would you most want?

Doesn’t get in the stat sheet as a tackle or sack, but it is an “impactful” play. We need some “impactful” players.

We have all the complimentary pieces on defense, we just need the Alpha Male player to make us very good.
