I think Mora has as much responsibility for this teams performance as anyone... the fact is these guys are not playing for him... At least when Holmgren was here the team played for him... The fact that this is Mora's first year is not an excuse for allowing for the mistakes that are being made.... I say the Hawks should Hire Holmgren as pres/GM and let him proceed to do what he thinks is the right avenue... if it means getting rid of Mora than so be it....

Or Matt just needs an OL who can give him a running game and ample time to throw.

Wow...how depressing. Is that really all Mora has to say?! Maybe they should try wearing black pants because research has shown teams with black colors tend to be more intimidating. Really???? Give me a break!

After the first 1/2 penalties, it is evidnt the team is not paying attention to their coaches.

Time for a house cleaning of upper management group.

If Ruskell is still here next year we can count on a re-run of 2009.

What I saw today looked like a team that quit. The defense in particular. Hasselbeck, Forsett, Hawthorne are guys that play for 60 minutes. The others? They checked out of this game early on.

We can kill the "trade Hass" conversation. If he goes anywhere it's because we cut him and he signs somewhere else. (Which isn't all that far out of the realm of possibility.)

I'm becoming more and more concerned (and convinced) that a new contract will be announced for Ruskell.

Listening to Holmy on KJR a couple of weeks ago, he threw out the line that he loves Seattle and would love to stay here.

Last week he said he would enjoy talking with Cleveland and gave some indication he already has been. Which would indicate that noone with Seattle took the hint and reached out to him.

I can't imagine anyone else Paul Allen would begin the conversation about GM/Pres with if it weren't Holmy.

I'm starting to believe he doesn't plan on making a change. My guess is that Ruskell will be back with a new deal to be announced sometime before the end of the season.

Someone mentioned that Allen may ignore the Seahawks because of his healthy problems...perhaps, though...if it has to take more time away from work, he may be following the team more closely...maybe that would be a good thing. If he was as enthusiastic as some of us on here, you would expect some major changes this offseaon...which officially started last week.

I can't believe that they are considering giving Ruskell an affitional two years! WTF? Where is Mora's attacking defense and top ten NFL rushing game?
In the past when the Hawks were lousy the brought in top notch proven coaches the turned the team arounf (Chuck Knoc & Mike Holgren). Mora's a nice guy but clearly is not a championship level coach. There are PROVEN coaches out the to be had. Cower, Shanahan, Tony Sungy, and of course the Big Show. I trust Big Mike to shop us a new QB in the draft more than Ruskell...not that Matt is finished. Ruskell foes't get that bigger WRs and secondary are a huge afvantage... This team is undersized. The Tim & Jim show must go!
Paul Allen is able to make any off these "retired" coaches "an other the can't refuse!"
