Some good news for Seattle before game time. Minnesota’s top corner, Antoine Winfield, is on the inactive list and will not play, which means Benny Sapp will start in his place. This could be an area for Seattle to attack today.

For Seattle, as expected cornerback Josh Wilson (concussion) is on the inactive list and will not play, which means Kelly Jennings will start at corner.

As ESPN’s Mike Sando notes here, Wilson lined up in the slot in nickel situations. And the Vikings like to use Percy Harvin in the slot, so it will be interesting to see if Jennings matches up with Harvin inside.

But before I list the rest of the inactive players, I’ve got to give you some tidbits from my conversation with longtime and frequent commenter BobbyK (pictured with me above), one of the fans who helps keep interesting and pertinent conversations going in the comment section.

And he’s got good seats, row one right behind the Seahawks bench.

BobbyK is a Minnesota native who got interested in the Seahawks as a 9-year-old during the 1983 season, and has been hooked on them ever since.

And even though he’s been critical of both this year, he believes that Tim Ruskell and Jim Mora should be given another year to see if they can turn things around.

“I think Ruskell’s looking at me as you’re interviewing me,” said BobbyK as we talked. “So now he’s going to know who the man behind the BobbyK wrath is.”
