It's a shame that it takes something of this magnitude to bring me to the point of saying how much i appreciate all you have done for sports in the Northwest in particular, but also everyday life in general. The fact that I'm able to send this message is in large part due to your efforts and genius. So, belatedly, thank you Mr. Allen. I'd also like to say "Live long and prosper" but you've already nailed the latter, and I certain will show just as well with the former. From my family to yours, we wish you all the best. Life/death/sickness stuff is always more important than a game (granted, some of us take this "game" pretty seriously... perhaps too seriously). I have appreciated him so much and hope to have him around for a long time. It will be a dark day when he's not in charge anymore (a LONG way down the road). I don't really want to think of the 'Hawks after Matt, nor do I want to think of the team after Mr. Allen. I have these terrible Ken Behring fears whenever I think of Mr. Allen not owning this team anymore. Obviously, the #1 priority is to hope Mr. Allen gets better.
