Good posts Nightwulf - totally with you.

Obviously, if we keep getting injured in key positions, we're going to lose a lot more games - but I think if things (finally) trend our way healthwise, we're going to start winning.

If you added up all that games Meban played this year, Seattle would have the 2nd best run D. They're also tied for 4th in sacks. They're just so close to being an elite D, barring injuries of course, but are just missing a few pieces. It makes you wonder how a healthy Tru would've meant to this D.

You definitely need a guy in the draft who can take Mebane's spot when he goes down and a CB to eventually take over for Lucas.

Variable,
A)see my post in the readers post game comments, and
B) players with "stingers" more often than not miss a practice or two, then are back, Williams sprained knee couldn't have been all that bad, he finished the game with it, Wallace and Fisher we can live without for a couple of weeks (one of which is a bye) and Burly played (and played well) after getting dinged up, he'll be fine next week. The only injury that might sting a bit was Wrotto, but he hasn't exactly been lighting it up out there...just, for once, look at the bright side and enjoy the win...:)

Thanks, xcman:)
It's just that I get tired of everyone ragging on the team. Here's the facts: We kicked ass against the Lambs (I'm fully aware that it was only the Lambs, but nevertheless, we kicked ass) We played pretty well against the niners (not perfect, but then again, NOBODY plays a perfect football game, with the possible exception of Peyton Manning, and if we hadn't lost Hass, I'm thinking we would have won that one) Our scrubs played out of their tiny minds against da bearsh, but they ARE scrubs, and we lost. We upchucked all over ourselves in Indy, but when you're facing what is arguably one of the best teams in the history of the NFL (especially in the reg season), and you're missing 10 starters (including your All World LT, your QB, BOTH your starting CB's and your two veteran LB's) it's pretty easy to mentally take yourself out of the game. Then we kicked ass against a team that scored more than 30 pts the last two weeks in a row. We made them look like last year's Huskies...And they WEREN'T missing 10 starters. So we've played well to outstanding in four of our five games...but were they getting any credit? Now I'm fully aware that "effort" doesn't show up in the standings, but giving good effort, along with talent (which we have) eventually translates into wins. We're a GOOD team, despite what our record says. And looking at the rest of the season, between the Cowgirls, Lions, Lambs, Bucs, the Pack, Tenn and Hou, only one of them (the cowgirls, who beat TB [0-5], Car [1-3], and kc [0-5]) has a winning record. between them they have an impressive (not) 8-26 record, with 3 of them (Lambs, TB and Tenn) being winless. It is not impossable to turn this into an 11 win season. We win the above games, split with the Tards and beat the niners, and viola! Do I THINK we'll do this? probably not, but at the moment, winning nine doesn't seem all that much of a reach. And that would likely get us into the playoffs, where anything can happen. (including a Hawks/Broncos SB...wouldn't THAT suck) We should know after next week if the niners have fallen off their pink cloud, and how we stack up against the Tards...

The Hasselbeck haters are clowns who probably hate their "favorite" team almost as much as they dislike everyone else. Who cares where they went? At least they are gone.
