But I'd be upset if we picked him: he doesn't have enough speed or range to play for us. If we pick him we will revert to having the same old problems of giving up the big play down field that we've had in many seasons past. It's not a good move. So, This appears to have been in the works for at least a few days. Also Milloy is a hometown guy and he did play for the Huskys. He has stated in the past he'd love to come home. Finally, it was Mora that signed Milloy in Atlanta. Milloy was offered a contract with Detroit earlier this week and turned them down. It all becomes clearer now. Danny O’Neal at the Times is now saying that Milloy was in town yesterday and was out at Seahawks HQ but left without working out.

So, This appears to have been in the works for at least a few days.

Also Milloy is a hometown guy and he did play for the Huskys. He has stated in the past he’d love to come home.
