The Seattle Seahawks announced this afternoon that they waived linebacker Tony Taylor with the designation of injured, and signed linebacker Shane Simmons.

Taylor suffered a knee injury during training camp.

Taylor signed with Seattle on May 21 as a free agent. Simmons, a Western Washington product and Kentlake High graduate, had a tryout with the team in April.

You’ll have a new set of eyes reporting from camp this afternoon, as Ryan Divish will be filling in for me from this evening’s practice and filing a report later this evening.
