(On losing a big play to Bobby Engram early in the game and then making the big interception at the end of the game…) "That’s Bobby. He made a catch that I think was like, 15 yards. Sometimes you win some and you lose some. We used to go at it in practice every day, so I knew he was their guy. I knew we’d have to make a play."

(On how he felt making such a huge play at the end of the game after missing a few games…) "You know, Coach Blache, Coach Zorn, when they put me in, they expect me to make plays. That’s my role. I was just trying to shake off a little rust and I was happy to help the team win."

(On how satisfying it is to help the team win after being out…) "It feels good, you know? You drive around and I’ve been out for so long that everybody on the radio was like, ‘This guy stinks, he doesn’t want to play,’ and stuff like that, and that really wasn’t the case. I tore my calf really bad. I wanted to be out there and help the team win, and when I’m not out there, I feel bad. So I was happy to come back and make some plays."

(On coming back to Seattle and how big it was for Zorn to win here…) "It’s big, because I know what it means for him. I know what he means to the Seahawks organization, and I know what he’s trying to start here in Washington, so it was big for him to come back and beat Coach Holmgren, who I know he has tremendous respect for. And I have tremendous respect for Coach Holmgren and that team, so I know it was a big day for Zorn."

(On whether he was aware of the other results in their division and how important it was for them to win today…) "I didn’t know that until the fourth quarter, I think the board flashed the score across the screen, but in the NFC East, you know it’s going to be very competitive. Every game down the stretch is going to be like a playoff game."

(On how badly they needed this win…) "Oh, we needed it. And you know, they’re a 2-8 team, but with Matt [Hasselbeck] back, and getting some of their receivers back, and the way Coach Holmgren coaches, I knew that they wouldn’t quit."

(On their defensive line doing well despite some injuries…) "We hung in there. Those guys, whoever came in played well. Jason [Taylor] and Chris Wilson and those guys, they hung in there. That’s what happens: when a guy goes down, somebody else has got to come up, step up."

(On what he said to Coach Holmgren after the game…) "I said, ‘Thank you for everything, I really appreciate it,’ because I learned so much from Coach Holmgren and I have a lot of respect for him. I know this is probably his last year, and I know how much pride he has and what type of coach he is. He’s truly made a difference in my life, so I told him, ‘Thank you.’"
