Here are some of the defensive ends the Seahawks looked at on Tuesday, in case Patrick Kerney is done for the season. None of them certainly are as well known as Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila.
Patrick Chukwurah
Sean Conover
Angelo Craig
Kevin Huntley
Al Wallace
Kerney had surgery earlier today but there is no word yet on what they determined.
Where’s Jason Babin?

What about Sucky Suckerson?

Al wallace who play for Carolina would not be bad fit better than Atkins.

Talk about over thinking something. TR is looking for a diamond in the rough at this time of the season? ugh.

Babin is better than all those guys and Atkins too. In fact I’d rather have Terrill line up at DE than Atkins.

Who frickin cares, if we are trying these bozos out, we are not expected to win a single game going forward.

God I hope we offer a team a draft pick. S T U P I D

I’m going to turn my attention to Boise State.

It really doesn’t matter. The season is over. If we need someone else in the rotation, lets make it a young guy who can get some playing to see if they have any potential to help out in ’09. ’09 is the only thing that really matters now.
I want to see what Vallos can do. Spencer is proven crap, we already know what we have in him.
Womack is a FA, and even if he’s resigned, we already know what he can do. Wrotto is an unknown and it would be nice if we could actually see what he can do. He could go into next year as a question mark if he doesn’t play. Question marks suck (see Taylor and Kent game 1 of this season). I want to know what we have in Wrotto.

I take it that KGB has “character flaws”?!?
Then again, why did the Packers release him?

I have a feeling Ruskell will clean house nexr year. Most of the holmgren players will be gone.
Denver needs another RB could we get a 3rd or 4th for Mo.
The raiders are getting rid of Hall wasn’t he a real good CB and didn’t he play for Mora?
The only thing wrong with the Hall deal is the Mr. Ruskell drafted to DB’s two years in a row.An those picks are doing such a great job a real credit to the seahawks.Thats what ruskell will say.

I hear that Sucky Suckerson was scheduled for a tryout but got injured before he could make it to Seattle…

jibo – Morris is a free agent after this season, and it is past the trade deadline, so he is not a trade candidate. He likely could have been traded for something prior to the start of the season (I thought they would do this), maybe a 5th or 6th, but my guess is indecision once again took over a Seahawks central.
Holmgren likely wanted Morris, and Ruskell and Mora likely wanted JJ and Duckett, so they kept everybody.

BRYCE FISHER – no character issues, knows the defensive plays, is healthy, and is in Seattle right now.

Nope he slapped his wife and wouldn’t pass he character test.

How about Simeon Rice?
“Simeon Rice One of the most feared pass rushers ever to play, if Simeon Rice were active in the NFL today he would have more career sacks than any player in the league. Two years after a shoulder injury ended his season, Rice and his doctors say he’s healthy and ready to play, but he can’t generate interest anywhere in the league. Why? Rice, who played for four teams (Cardinals, Buccaneers, Broncos and Colts) during his 12 years in the NFL, says it’s because he is often outspoken and has angered too many coaches, including Tampa Bay’s John Gruden and Philadelphia’s Andy Reid. Critics say Rice is not in the NFL because he was injured, is too old at 34 and his style of play isn’t as effective in the NFL anymore. Rice sounds off about his struggle to return to the NFL in a revealing interview with E:60 correspondent Jeremy Schaap.”

Rice is done and the fork has been in him for more than two seasons now.
What a collection of practice squad DEs this crew above as looked at is, we are once again overpaying for a DE at the end of his career who is now officially injury prone.

Does anybody think we have a chance to go after Deangelo Hall if in fact the Raiders do release him? I know we probably can’t afford him at this point but he did play in Atlanta for Mora and Ruskell so maybe he might find it in is heart to play for less?
Probably not, but there’s nothing wrong with dreaming, right?

K B-G has no character problems. He’s a perfect role model and I’m quite surprised they didn’t make an offer.
