On the Falcons ending their season with a win:

"This was a great win to end the season and especially knowing that everybody put up their best effort. This has been a tough season, but everybody showed great resolve through it all. Coach Jackson (Hugh) spoke in front of the team and gave us a great speech about not quitting and showing pride as professionals. I am glad for Arthur Blank and the organization to all go out on a winning note despite all that has happen."

On the play of the Falcons offense:

"I thought the defense played good tonight and they gave us opportunities to put points on the board. At the beginning we had some field goals but that’s not enough to beat a team like Seattle. But luckily, our offense settled down and we were able to get in the end zone a few times. We capitalize on the momentum swing in the second half and I was pleased that we made most of the field position."

On the offense scoring 21 points in a minute and a half:

"It was great that we were able to get the tempo going. We made some big plays from the offensive line to the wide receivers."

On the offensive game plan versus Seattle:

"I thought Coach Jackson did an excellent job with the game plan for today. Our receivers stepped up and made some spectacular catches along with the running backs hitting the holes at the right time. It was a collective effort and I am glad that I was a part of this win."

On returning for another season with the Falcons:

"I love it here in Atlanta and would love another chance to play for this organization. It would’ve been nice to play a few more games at quarterback but I think I made most of the opportunity. I can’t wait until next season."
