KIRKLAND, WASH. – The Seattle Seahawks will partner with Salvation Army to collect donations for southwest Washington flood victims this Sunday, December 9, at Qwest Field prior to kickoff of the Seahawks game against the Arizona Cardinals.

There will be volunteers in green vests and Salvation Army buckets at various gate locations along Occidental Avenue and throughout the stadium.

Fans are also encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game or make a donation to any of the U.S. Marine volunteers at various gate locations throughout the stadium for the 31st annual Toys-for-Tots drive. There will also be a collection booth inside Touchdown City.

Some of the toys donated will be allocated to families in southwest Washington.

  1. How can a food drive plea that’s 22 hours old be the most current post on the so called best sports blog in the country with less than 21 and a half hours to go before a home game that could clinch the division title for the SeaHawks?

Isn’t there some kind of SeaHawk news to share? What did SA have for breakfast? Does #8 have a hangover? Has the Cardinal airplane been delayed?

Where’s the moderator when you need him? Where’s the Sandoman? Somebody, please, talk to me. Make something up, just give me something to chew on for a few hours.
