Happy New Year

I mean that from the bottom of my blog. Thanks for helping to make us the third-best source of Seahawks news in the eyes of Sports Illustrated. Like my daddy always said, “Be the third-best you can be.” We promise to try harder in 2007. Seriously, thanks a bunch to the readers who contribute regularly on this blog. Hackett has groin injury

WR D.J. Hackett did not return after suffering a groin injury. Coach Mike Holmgren said the injury was not serious. Sounds like Hackett could be available for the playoff game. We’ll know more once they practice Wednesday. We have no media access tomorrow. There probably won’t be media access until Wednesday.

Dallas visits Qwest in prime-time game

The Seahawks and Cowboys play Saturday night at 5 Pacific time in a wild-card game at Qwest Field. Tickets go on sale Tuesday.


From a team release: “Single-game playoff tickets will go on sale Tuesday, January 2, at 10 a.m. for the Seahawks NFC Wild Card Playoff Game, the team announced today. Williams down holding leg

Jimmy Williams, one of the Seahawks last corners standing, is down on the field with 13:12 left in the fourth quarter. We could not see exactly what happened. Was it cramps? A leg injury? Hard to tell. But this team is running out of corners.
