RB Marquis Weeks, waived from the 53-man roster yesterday, was back at practice today. He’s on the practice squad again now that Shaun Alexander is healthy. The team signed DE Robert Pollard from the practice squad to the 53-man roster today. Seattle released WR Sloan Thomas from the practice squad yesterday, signing DE Eric Taylor.

    Mike,

Does Pollard look so good in practice that we need another DE on the roster than a 300+ pound DT good against the run? Don’t understand this move as I don’t recall us having any injury problems at DE.

  2. Mike what are your Thanksgiving Day picks?
Also who do you pick for the 49er – Ram game?
For once i’ll be pulling for the Rams.

i second the question from ajdrolet. and what does the move mean for Tafoya. Amazingly he made it through his injury without going on IR so the team must really like what he brings, which makes the Pollard move puzzling unless he is going to play some DT.

  4. Tubbs is listed at 320, but probably 330 easy. His added size does make a big difference. Even on Chester Taylor’s 95-yard run, Tubbs BLEW UP the play. Other guys just screwed it up. … You can’t find 330-pound DTs with talent in Week 12, generally.

  5. Maybe Pollard will be playing DT…
