Niners coach Mike Nolan might be planning to wear a Reebok-designed dress suit on the sideline Sunday. The league’s apparel contract with Reebok forces coaches to wear Reebok-issued clothing on the sideline. Nolan and Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio have wanted to wear old-school suits instead, a la Tom Landry. This AP story explains the compromise.

    C’mon Phil, let’s remember, Football isn’t a Sport, it’s a Business :-/

…see stupid Hamlin int, better for his stats come contract time, bad for the ‘Hawks and field position vs the Lambs…

I think with JP on board, and the fact our guys almost got beat in SF last season, we’ll be ready for them and his nice looking suit will do well at the 49er “funeral” on Sunday. It’ll be more appropriate (hopefully!).

I love the suits, as long as those ridiculous Landry hats remain banned.

Seriously, if coordinated end zone celebrations make a mockery of the game, why exactly is a glenplaid fedora complete with peacock feather considered dignified?

Tell me Holmy isn’t going to have to do a Paul Brown imitation this season?
