Our two-year Season Log is updated. It shows that Seattle is on pace for the same number of offensive penalties as last season, but 10 more defensive penalties. Special-teams penalties were a big problem earlier in the season, but right now Seattle is on pace for about the same number as it had last season. Here it is.

Enjoy your day off with the kids, Mike, but when you come back, can you tell us about Marquis Weeks?

Since Mo’s not getting the job done, it would seem that Holm’s might want to give this kids a shot at creating something, especially since making a roster spot for him cost us Kaz.

Has he looked good at practice? Has he been getting reps?

At this point, continuing to play Mo Morris and expecting different results sounds a little like insanity.

  2. Not quite a day off. Still have to crank out two stories for the paper and a free-lance file. But I won’t be around the computer quite so much. … I haven’t noticed much about Weeks. And while Alexander is better than Morris, particularly as a power runner and red-zone runner, he wasn’t doing much either. All agree the problems go beyond the back. For that reason, I would be a little surprised if they started giving the ball to Weeks. We shall see.
