Saturday is a travel day for me. I’ll be arriving in Chicago sometime in the early evening. The plan is to check in here Saturday night.

Much has been said about Chicago having more to prove with this game than the Seahawks as the team to beat. I don’t see that being the case, especially for the Hawks D, as they want to use the Bears D as a measuring stick. I also expect the offense to be extra motivated to prove themselves on a national stage, that they are still a Superbowl team, even WITHOUT Shaun Alexander. I look for Branch to also be extremely motivated to prove to the Hawks and the world that he is worth the $ and the 1st round pick. Get the ball in his hands early and often…. horizontal, vertical passes, doesn’t really matter, as he has fresh legs and can pull a Steve Smith at any given moment.

    Have a safe flight…

BTW….O’Hare airport SUCKS and is extremely famous for long layovers.

I should know 2 weeks ago I spent 12 hours there.

You do fly first class don’t you? And have a helicopter waiting to fly you from the airport to your ***** hotel, and then a limo ride to/from the game? Ah, the VIP lifestyle. What a guy!

wonder jpete will switch to #58 now that it is available, similar to #98 he used to wear w/niners. word is he doesn’t like #59.
