Harris poll puts Hawks at No. 12

The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that the Seahawks have jumped to No. 12 among NFL teams in overall popularity within the U.S. That’s a jump from 23rd in the previous poll. The 49ers are still the most popular team on the West Coast.

    That is not bad for a team that is only 30 years old and way up here, considering the tradition and history of a lot of other teams in the NFL.

    Glad to see Americans aren’t bandwagon jumpers or anything…
    I’m sure if Arizona went to the Superbowl they’d jump above us.
    Now if we go again we’ll move up even higher.

  4. It’s a momentum thing, the bandwagon effect, everyone loves a winner.

    The more the ‘Hawks win the higher they’ll rank on that poll.

  5. Do we have a link to the entire poll? I’d like to see where all the teams rank.

    I certainly see many more Seahawk “fans” than as short as 5 years ago. However, that could be the Holmgren, Hasselbeck, Ray Rhodes factor.
