Coach Mike Holmgren noted this week that TE Jerramy Stevens would probably be back for the Oct. 15 game at St. Louis. That sounded later than previous estimates, but hopefully I can help explain. We wrote initially that Stevens would be back in early October. I don’t think anything has changed. It’s just that Seattle does not play a game between Oct. 2 and Oct. 14. So, if he’s back on the practice field late this month or early next month, the thinking might be not to rush him back into the Oct. 1 game. This was one of those injury updates that tends to slip through the cracks. Just thought I’d pass along an answer before someone asks the question.
