Tana Pritchard didn’t need long to consider the offer.
Twenty-four hours after Washington State assistant coach Mike Levenseller proffered the Clover Park senior a scholarship, Pritchard orally committed to the Cougars.
“I grew up rooting for the Cougars, it would have been too hard for me to turn this offer down,” Pritchard told Cougfan.com. “It was a lot easier decision than it was hard.”
Pritchard, who committed on Friday, will follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle, who both played for the Cougars. Dad David was a center on the 1981 Holiday Bowl team and uncle Jack Thompson was a quarterback.
