Baseball: Black Hills coach Elway retires
Meg Wochnick of The Olympian wrote today of longtime high school baseball coach Lem Elway’s retirement.
“It’s been a great experience,” said Elway, 64. “I’ve always looked at the positive part of everything. I love dealing with the kids, and always felt they needed a positive role model.
During Elway’s seven-year stretch at Black Hills, the Wolves made the postseason the past three years. This past spring, Black Hills was 8-10, finished fourth in the EvCo, and earned its second consecutive 2A District IV tournament berth. The Wolves also had a 9-2 mark in their last 11 games against
